Dry Day is that distinct feeling which can’t be put into words, and many of you are aware of the fact that alcohol is prohibited in bars, pubs, and liquor shops according to Alcohol Laws in India. Like me, not many of you like a day in India as it spoils hangout plans with dear ones.
For those who don’t know, dry days are specific times when alcoholic drinks won’t be sold in any place be it retail shops, bars, and hotels. Additionally, it also depends a lot on each state’s decision as they have their own rules and are empowered to declare specific days as dry days. Basically, dry days fall on religious events, national festivals, national holidays, and during national & state elections in India.
Dry days are something that many of them don’t want to look forward to. So, by chance if you’re unable to recall it then here are a few things that you can do on dry days – either go for a walk or bike ride, take a relaxing bath, play games or watch a movie or read a book, enjoy movies or web series on OTT platforms like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, etc.
Remember
The legal age of drinking alcohol in Delhi is 21 years while in some Indian states, the legal age of drinking is as low as 18, a few have it at the upper limit of 25. It’s a humble request to carry ID proof whenever you’re visiting a place where is served and consumed.
