About Me – Vivek Parmar

I’m not a bartender, cocktail expert, or mixologist, I’m just a normal person like you. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I learned more about cocktails and spirits, and this helped me a lot. It is like waking up each morning and trying my best to keep a track of what’s new in the world of spirits and cigars, it feels like a full-time job through CocktailsX.

It is my belief that acquiring knowledge and skill with respect to all spirits serves to broaden my perspective and what you are getting is an educated, informed opinion – mine, to be exact. The opinion is influenced by the number of bottles I’ve tried, my background, my personal palate, and my overall understanding of distilled spirits. I love to discover new spirits and cigars, share drams with friends, collect hard-to-find bottles & cigars, deep-diving into the science and history behind the spirits and cigars. 

Almost all the time and within my financial limitations, I buy everything and take no freebies except my friends, who know of my passion, or the occasional formal tasting.
